GST Identification number or GSTIN is a 15-character unique number provided by Government to every registered taxpayer. The select details of Taxpayer are made available through the Taxpayer Search API. The details are as follows

*E-invoice Status represents e-invoice enablement status on GSTN portal. The taxpayers who are exempt from e-invoicing or to whom e-invoicing is not applicable but their turnover range is above the e-invoice threshold will still have status as enabled. Hence E-invoice Status could be Yes, but they may not be generating e-invoices due to exemptions or non-applicability.
