GST Notification – 15/2023:

In simple words, the government is making a change to a law called the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This change is being made based on a recommendation from a council. The change affects a previous notification issued by the government on May 24th, 2023.

The changes are as follows:

The notification previously mentioned the month of April 2023, but now it includes both April and May 2023.
The previous notification stated that the changes would be effective until May 31st, 2023, but now it will be effective until June 30th, 2023.
The new notification comes into force on May 31st, 2023.
