GST Notification – 16/2023:

In simple words, the government is making another change to the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, based on certain powers given to them. This change modifies a previous notification issued on June 28th, 2019.

The changes are as follows:
1. The previous notification mentioned only the month of April 2023, but now it includes both April 2023 and May 2023.
2. The previous notification stated that the changes would be effective until May 31st, 2023, but now it will be effective until June 30th, 2023.

The new notification comes into effect on May 31st, 2023.
