The year 2021 has been a rollercoaster ride for many of us. We are sure you must have experienced some good parts and some not-so-good phases this year.

A fantastic journey to be, we are thankful in many ways to all our readers!

Recovering from the pandemic, then again going down the Second Wave and once again standing up with all its might, the world has been nothing less than courageous.

The country witnessed another lockdown, businesses were shut and it impacted the overall economy. However, thanks to the rapid vaccination drive and quick measures, we all are moving towards normalcy as things seem to be opening up fairly.

We at IRIS GST had our fair share of happiness and we can’t thank you all enough!
You are amazing motivators, supporters and cheerleaders who inspire us to bring out our best.
Going down memory lane, sharing the wonderful milestones we were able to achieve throughout the year with your constant support and love :

1. A year of Trust and Belief – IRIS Listing

IRIS became India’s first RegTech SaaS to get listed at the NSE and BSE on 8th November 2021. It was indeed a great honour for IRIS and a sense of pride for the entire small business community. This has been possible due to the faith and support of all of you. We cannot thank our clients and supporters enough for having entrusted faith in us for all these years.

2. A year of added accountability- Twitter Verified

In our endeavour to provide the latest and fresh GST updates, we have been spreading our wings on social media. The efforts were recognized when @IRISGST became a Twitter verified handle in May 2021. The coveted blue tick reminds us of the heightened responsibility of keeping you updated with nothing but the latest GST updates. Bringing in the latest GST information, insights and government notifications to you will be our priority, always.

We even launched the Instagram handle of your beloved app @iris.peridot to open the channel with our well-wishers spread across the various social mediums. Do follow @iris.peridot on Instagram to get awesome hacks for small taxpayers to simply their monitoring of GST Compliance.

3. I am Responsible – Free Vaccination Drive for IRIS Employees and their family

IRIS organised a free vaccination drive twice for all the IRIS employees and even for their family members. The first dose of Coveshild Vaccine was made available on June 24, 2021, at the Vashi office and the second dose was given on September 24, 2021. The entire process was smooth and was handled exceptionally well. We consider this as our win since the vaccine was made available for hundreds of people in a hassle-free manner; it certainly lessened the burden of the local municipal authorities and was indeed a noble gesture by the company to include all family members of IRIS employees too!

4. Successful E-invoicing for Clients

E-invoicing went live for companies with a turnover above Rs. 100 Cr. and Rs. 50 Cr. in January 2021 and April 2021 respectively. IRIS GST onboarded hundreds of happy customers and generated IRNs for them successfully. The process was smooth and hassle-free with our e-invoicing solution IRIS Onyx.

In October 2021, we collated all the reviews and testimonials received from our esteemed clients and created a customer success stories section that features it all.

The indirect taxation system goes through frequent changes and has constant new updates. This is one of our proudest achievements this year! We organised and conducted multiple LIVE webinars on important GST subjects like E-invoicing, E-way Bill, GST Compliance, ITC Maximization, GSTR 9C Self Certification and filing GSTR 9 among others. Thousands of participants that included small businesses, corporates, CAs and regular people benefited from these LIVE webinars and resources that we shared with them.

6. IRIS GST Times Completes 3 Years:

Our popular monthly newsletter completed 3 full years this October 2021. It has been quite a journey with the Newsletter wherein we share valuable information related to the latest GST news, GST due dates compliance calendar and articles that offer important insights. Starting with a simple structured format, we have now shifted to a more vibrant and dynamic template for the IRIS GST Times.
