GST Notification – 19/2024:

This Notification No. 19/2024, issued on 30th September 2024, states that starting from 1st April 2025, the authority specified under section 171 of the GST Act will no longer accept requests to verify if input tax credits or tax rate reductions have led to corresponding price reductions for consumers. The notification becomes effective upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
