GST Notification – 01/2024:

In simple words, the government has decided to give more time to certain registered businesses in the districts of Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Kanyakumari, Thoothukudi, and Virudhunaga in the state of Tamilnadu to submit their tax return for the month of Nov. 2023. The new deadline for them to file the return is the 10th of Jan, 2024. This decision was made based on the recommendations of the Council.

The new rule becomes effective from the 20th day of Dec, 2023.
