GST Notification – 11/2024:

In Notification No. 11/2024-Central Tax, the Central Government has amended Table II of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from May 30, 2024, these amendments refine the geographical details specified in the earlier notification No. 02/2017-Central Tax from June 19, 2017.

Specifically, changes include substituting “Neem ka Thana, Jhunjhunu” for certain tehsils under serial number 7 and omitting references to Kotputli, Viratnagar, and Shahpura tehsils under serial number 49. These adjustments aim to enhance clarity and accuracy in tax administration across specified districts and tehsils in Rajasthan, facilitating smoother compliance with GST regulations.
