Gautam comes with 15 years of cross-functional experience across strategy, sales, IT operations and program & project management in retail, IT and the e-learning industries. Beginning his career in IRIS, Gautam moved on to work with several corporations including the Tatas, Future Group and IBM, across several countries (India, UK and South East Asia).

At Future Group, Gautam handled key strategic projects working directly with the Group Chairman. At IBM, Gautam was a consultant with the Information Agenda team for the Asia-Pacific region helping organizations set up an information supply chain roadmap and to derive business value from it.

Gautam rejoined IRIS in 2012 after ten years of multinational and cross-functional experience with a dream to bring in transparency in the manner in which information is captured, processed and reported.

Since then Gautam has been involved in the operations and delivery of several structured data projects in IRIS. Over the last 3.5 years, he has focused on IRISGST, IRIS’ suite of products for GST taxpayers, managing strategy, new market development, partner engagement, sales and delivery for the product line.

Gautam holds a B. Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering and MBA in Finance and Systems from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. He is married and has a 7 year old son. When not playing with him, enjoys wildlife and long distance running. He is also a deep spiritual seeker, and enjoys reading about, and visiting, places of spiritual significance.
