Vendor Non-Compliance Can Affect Your ITC Claim!

In accordance with the GST Notification No. 10/2023 – Central Tax issued on 10th May 2023, businesses with an Annual Aggregate Turnover (AATO) of Rs. 5 Cr and above must now adopt e-invoicing as of 1st August 2023.

For large and medium-sized companies already complying with e-invoicing, the focus now shifts to ensuring their vendors generate IRN to safeguard their rightful Input Tax Credit (ITC).

IRN generation is necessary for an invoice to be considered valid for companies that come under the current threshold. If your vendors have crossed the e-invoicing threshold and they don’t generate IRN then the invoice will be invalid, and it won’t get reflected in the return filed thus affecting your ITC claim.

To help businesses navigate through this mandate and make their vendors e-invoicing compliant, IRIS GST is hosting a live webinar. Join us and gain invaluable guidance and insights from our GST experts. Secure your spot now by registering through the link below!
